Here to Know About This Project

Fox’s Den is a vibrant, craft-focused gastropub in Annapolis, Maryland, known for its wood-fired pizzas, locally-sourced ingredients, and community-first atmosphere. The client wanted to elevate their digital presence — not just visually — but by enabling seamless online ordering, reservations, and improved mobile accessibility.

The Challenge of the Project

Although Fox’s Den had a strong brand on-site, their web platform lacked modern e-commerce functionality and mobile optimization. Customers faced friction when ordering online or making reservations via mobile devices. The website also needed to capture the brand’s rustic, local-craft pub vibe while supporting online ordering workflows and managing inventory, pick-up, and delivery logistics

Our Solution & Approach

We initiated with a discovery session: assessing the web traffic, mobile behaviour, peak ordering periods, and existing reservation/ordering friction points. Based on these insights, our team redesigned the website framework — focusing on intuitive navigation, mobile-first responsiveness, and tight integration with online ordering and reservations.

  1. We created a custom theme for WordPress (or equivalent CMS) tailored to the client’s craft brand identity. The system integrated an online ordering module (for pickup and delivery), an intuitive reservations widget, and optimized mobile checkout for a friction-free experience. Visual design emphasized warm, inviting imagery, clear calls-to-action (“Order Now”, “Reserve Table”), and seamless transition between browsing and ordering.

Key Deliverables & Implementations

Result & Impact

The revamped digital platform allowed Fox’s Den to present an engaging online experience aligned with their local brand identity, while significantly reducing ordering/reservation friction for customers. Mobile users were better served, online ordering and reservations became easier to manage internally, and the brand successfully bridged the gap between dine-in experience and digital convenience.
