Here to Know About This Project

POLYWOOD is a U.S.-based manufacturer pioneering sustainable outdoor furniture made entirely from recycled plastics. With an expanding global audience and a strong commitment to eco-conscious craftsmanship, POLYWOOD needed an eCommerce platform that reflected its values — modern, sustainable, and customer-focused.

The primary goal was to reimagine their online store into a high-performing, scalable Shopify ecosystem that could handle a large catalog, manage complex logistics, and effectively communicate the brand’s sustainability story.

The Challenge of the Project

The existing store struggled with page speed, catalog management, and fragmented user experience. The platform had become difficult to scale, especially with product variants and media-heavy product pages slowing load times.

Additionally, the site’s content wasn’t effectively connecting the brand’s environmental mission to the shopping experience. Our challenge was to create a design that delivered both storytelling depth and technical excellence — marrying sustainability with seamless performance.

Our Solution & Approach

Our team began by conducting a complete UX and technical audit, analyzing how customers interacted with products and where engagement dropped. From there, we redesigned the entire storefront architecture with Shopify Online Store 2.0, ensuring modular flexibility, optimized load times, and fluid mobile navigation.

To reinforce POLYWOOD’s environmental values, we built sections that highlighted their recycled materials, manufacturing process, and impact statistics — woven naturally into the shopping journey.

Key Deliverables & Implementations

Result & Impact

Post-launch, POLYWOOD’s digital experience became more engaging and sustainable in design and performance. Customers could now navigate large product collections smoothly, with a faster checkout and better access to brand information.

The new Shopify platform provided the client’s team with improved manageability, enabling them to update content, run campaigns, and expand internationally without dependency on developers.
